Day 04 – How to Present a Neat Answer Sheet: Real-Life Skills Taught at Ivaskillshare’s Handwriting Workshop

Today marked Day 04 of our 10-Day Free Handwriting Workshop at the Government School near Markaji High School, Warangal, and the focus shifted to something every student needs — presentation skills.

Because at Ivaskillshare, we don’t just teach handwriting.

Building on the small letter and Aa–Zz practice from Day 03, we took the students one step forward:

“How do you present your answer paper in a way that impresses the teacher instantly?”

Most students write good answers — but if the handwriting is rushed, uneven, or messy, teachers struggle to read it. That’s where marks can silently slip away.

✍️ Key Presentation Tips We Taught Today:

1. Leave Equal Margins:

Start a little away from the left and top edge. Keep space uniform.

2. Maintain Proper Letter Height:

Whether it’s ruled or plain paper, keep capital letters in ¾ height and small letters in ½ height.

3. Spacing Is Important:

Leave space between words and lines. Never cramp your answers.

4. Underline Keywords:

Use a scale and underline only the important headings or terms to make the answer stand out.

5. Avoid Cutting or Scrubbing:

We taught them how to think before writing, so they don’t need to erase or strike through too much.

6. Use the Same Slant/Style:

Slanted writing is fine — but it should be consistent throughout.

7. Number Questions Clearly:

Always write question numbers and sub-parts clearly and neatly.

✏️ Practicing on Plain Paper

To make it more practical, we gave each student a plain sheet and asked them to:

Write a mock short answer

Maintain neatness, height, spacing

Apply every rule we discussed

And the result? Truly impressive!

Students who just a few days ago struggled with strokes were now writing full answers with clear structure and improved neatness.
