π¨ Creative Hands at Work: Pencil Holder Magic at Ivaskillshare! π️
At Ivaskillshare, we don’t just teach drawing and craft — we help kids bring their imagination to life!
In our recent Art & Craft session, our talented young creators took on an exciting project: making pencil holders shaped like adorable animals! πΌπ’ With a perfect mix of creativity, technique, and fun, this activity was all about learning by doing — and the results were simply fantastic.
πΌ Panda Pencil Holder by Anu
Anu amazed us with her patience and precision! She first drew a cute panda design on cardboard, carefully cut it out using a sharp-edged tool (with supervision), and then brought it to life with her color-blending skills.
➡️Step 1: Draw the outline of the panda.
➡️Step 2: Use a craft knife or sharp scissors to cut it neatly.
➡️Step 3: Choose a base color (white) and apply it smoothly.
➡️Step 4: Add secondary shades — black ears, eyes, and hands for that iconic panda look.
➡️Step 5: Add finishing touches with a glossy glue coat, giving it shine and durability.
➡️Step 6: Attach the holder structure behind to insert pencils or pens.
π Result? A stunning and functional panda pencil holder — cute, useful, and handmade with love!
π’ Tortoise Pencil Holder by Thrishik
Thrishik wowed everyone with his colorful tortoise design. He followed similar steps with a twist in color selection, creating a shell pattern with green and yellow hues.
Carefully carved out the tortoise body and shell separately.
Painted in layers: first light green, then dark
edges for depth, and finally added yellow dots.
Finished with glue to strengthen the structure.
Created a compartment on the tortoise’s back to hold pencils and pens.
π¨ The end result was a vibrant tortoise pencil holder that stole the spotlight!
